The girls had a long weekend with their school closed last Thursday and Friday for Teachers’ Convention. Apart from scheduling a few playdates for them, I also signed them up for an all-day workshop at the Montclair Art Museum on Friday. Ines took a Pottery Workshop while Chiara took a Textile/Fabric Arts class that was largely inspired by the museum’s current exhibit on African-American Quilts.
We took it easy most of the weekend. Dinner with friends on Saturday night where delicious couscous was served. Then, there was our outing in the city on Sunday where we feted a little girl’s 4th birthday. Seeing many friends and their little ones this weekend made me look forward to the holiday season and merry making to come.
Hope you had a lovely weekend!
