I have a weakness for quaint little towns with old ivy-covered cottages, especially those that remind me of ones in the Cotswolds in the UK. There is just something so romantic and idyllic about the way these houses look. So when we recently discovered a little Norman town called Beaumont-en-Auge, not too far from Deauville, I was in heaven. Beaumont-En-Auge, a small town of only 400 people, has lots of lovely Tudor-style cottages and a small but well-kept town center with two art galleries to boast and a chocolate shop that sells artisanal sweets.
