Love, love Vanessa Seward’s style. For me, it evokes the late ’60s and early ’70s fashion as can be seen in movies like Belle du Jour. It’s the schoolgirl look that hints at sexiness, instead of scream it. There’s no vulgarity, no look-at-me clothes, in her designs.
I’m happy that she’s finally launched her own label, seen first at the fall Paris fashion week a couple of months ago. After years of designing at Azzaro and APC, I think she’s ready to show us her stuff.
