Weekly snapshots of my girls and life in general in 2015
Though the girls started school last week, the end of summer did not yet feel as official as it did this past weekend with Labor Day. We went to the Catskills where we spent lots of time outdoors, hiking the Giant Ledge Trail and visiting towns we love to go to when we’re in the area. (Think of towns like Hudson, Saugerties, Phoenicia and Woodstock.) I am dreading going back to our traditional routines and having things fall back to their natural rhythms, partly because I know that this year is a transitional one where many key decisions need to be made. I am sensing change in the air, not just in terms of seasons changing, but also in our lives overall. It’s too early to tell how everything will pan out but I’d like to be an optimist and say that things will work out for the best.
Have a great week!
