Weekly snapshots of family life in 2016
We got back from Spring Break on Wednesday last week, which gave us extra time to just hang out at home and enjoy our time being reunited with Brady. He has grown in the six days since we have last seen him. Our fears of him not recognizing us when we pick him up from the dog boarding place was mitigated quickly once home. He showered us with lots of puppy kisses and snuggles, and in a day or so, we were back to our usual routine.
The thing with puppies, just like with newborns, is that you get tons of people wanting to stop by and visit. Over the last week, the girls had almost a dozen friends stop by to meet Brady. My favorite visit was seeing my friend’s two little boys on Saturday night. Despite the age differences among the kids, everyone got along well — they even managed to put on a little performance for us at the end of the evening.
The end of weekend was marked by a kid yoga session in French at the local Alliance Francaise that Ines enjoyed tremendously. Though she’s fluent in French, Ines had a fun time hearing workout expressions that I don’t think she’s never heard of before.
Have a great week, everyone!
