Victorious in Cape May

Victorious in Cape May

When we were in Cape May for Memorial Day weekend, my friend, Ellen, and I fell in love with the store, Pink by Victorious.  In the past, we have stayed away from the store, which is housed in a pink Victorian house (hence the store name).  We thought that most of the merchandise the store carries were just Victorian clothes and jewelry, a little dated for our tastes.  I don’t know if  it’s the refinished facade or because the store was recently redecorated that we decided to step inside and check the place out.

On the first floor, there are many fun and trendy jewelry pieces, many of which I wanted to buy but decided not to. I really am trying to be more mindful of the things I purchase.  And besides, I don’t really need another necklace, do I?  But I digress.  There are also some fine antique and estate jewelry items on this floor.   All the jewelry pieces were nicely displayed and the overall room decor was bright and airy with a nice dose of tradition and trendiness.  On the second floor, there are clothes that one could use for a beach weekend — some fun beach cover-ups, sweaters, dresses, and what-nots.

If you are in Cape May this summer, you may want to take a peek inside this adorable little shop.   Leave the kids with the husband for a few minutes and treat yourself to some eye candy!
