Kids’mas – It’s Not About Us Anymore

Kids’mas – It’s Not About Us Anymore

On Sunday, we had some friends over with their little ones for our version of Friendsgiving, which is Kids’mas. We started doing our annual Christmas get-together when I was the only married one in the group. Today, many years later, we still manage to maintain the tradition except that not only are there more of us but it also shifted in focus. Now, it is all about the kids.

Though the kids still have not outnumbered the parents, they sure kept us busy especially since many of them are in the under age-five set. It was loads of fun with some gingerbread-house making and lots of eating. The special plus is that we had a dusting of snow at day’s end making it even more magical for the young and old alike. Hope you had a wonderful weekend, dear friends!
