A Little Bit of This and That on Father’s Day
How was your weekend? I can’t believe that this week will be the last one for us before school’s out. Did you have a nice Father’s Day weekend? Ours was sort of mish-mash of different things. I made breakfast for everyone, which is rare since it’s usually Richard who does the early-morning shift in our house. I decided to make a typical Filipino breakfast with Filipino bread (pan de sal), eggs and sausages (longaniza).
Wrapping up the two weeks full of recitals and concerts, Ines performed at her piano recital at Montclair State University’s Leshowitz Hall. Her big sis, Chiara, had her big performance concert at Carnegie Hall on Friday (more on that on the next blog post). After Ines’ recital, we headed home to watch France win against Honduras in their first game at this World Cup series. Then, the girls rode their bikes and played tennis with Richard. Another active and busy day. I think that all the running around and activities made Richard a one happy but super-tired dad by the end of the day. Hope you had a good one!
